November Registrations for Children’s Ballroom

Register your child today for the November Session. The children’s / youth / teen ballroom dance classes will be starting on Thursday the 4th at 6:30pm. Keep in mind that there will be no class on the last week of November due to the holiday. You can pre-register online to reserve your child’s space by signing up online. Just make sure to include your child’s name and your phone number in the notes of the purchase. You can also give us a call for directions to the ballet studio on Hallandale Beach Blvd where the lessons are being held.

Children’s / Teen / Youth Ballroom Dance Class has started!

Congratualtions to all of the new students who joined in this year’s Children’s / Teen / Youth Ballroom Dance Class!  It is not too late to add your child to the class for only $20 per class or $15 for the month (4 or more classes).  Cha Cha and Rumba will be covered for the first few lessons until all of the students can walk into the class confidently.  Then we will move on to Waltz and Foxtrot (Waltz being essential if your child will be doing Catillion or Quinceañera).  If you wish your child to concentrate on Waltz for a special birthday or quince, please call us to schedule a private lesson.
 
Classes are held every Thursday at 6:30 pm.

Summer WorkShops and Lessons

The Summer is quickly approaching!  Spring classes will soon be ending and summer activities will begin!  Children’s classes will not run over the Summer holiday, but we will still be teaching private lessons for our competing students.  We will also be holding a few workshops and master’s classes in August, so stay tuned.  Wedding couples!!!  Don’t wait until winter time to start your lessons for your wedding next year!  Dancing takes time and repetition and is much easier in the end, the earlier you start.  Happy Memorial Day everyone!  Remember those who have fallen so that we would not have to….

Registrations are open for Hallandale

Our new location has arrived!  We will begin having ballroom dance classes in April on Hallandale Beach Blvd.  Classes will begin in both standard and latin following the International Style syllabus.  There will be both beginner and intermediate classes for both children and adults.  Classes will be Mon-Fri with introductory classes on Saturday.  We are also interested to see if anyone would like to have a drill class where amalgamations are given and practiced to learn new combinations.  Please contact 954-662-6789 if you would like to see this type of class put together.
 
Ballroom dance classes are for all levels and ages, but registrations are on a first come first served basis.  Registrations will close on Apr. 15th or when the class reaches capacity.  If classes fill up early, additional dance classes may be added to the schedule.

New Saturday Latin Ballroom Class time!!!

Our Saturday Latin Ballroom Beginners 1 & 2 class will have a new time starting next month.  Due to schedule changes at the Aventura Dance location, we will now be having the class from 5-6 p.m.

Classes start on Saturday this week!

New groups classes are starting on August 1st and continuing every Saturday from 2-3pm.  The group class will cover the Latin Ballroom dances that can be seen on Dancing with the Stars.  Each month will cover a new dance rotating between Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble, Jive and Cha Cha.  For more information about instruction with Noel and Victoria, call 954-662-6789 and pre-register as space is limited.  This series will be located in Aventura.  Call today!

Free Show Tonight and a Workshop on Sunday!

We will be doing a free performance at the Goldcoast Ballroom tonight in Coconut Creek at the intersection of Lyons Road and Coconut Creek Parkway.  There is no entry fee and there will be light snacks as well!  We hope to see everyone there!
 
Also on Sunday we will be teaching our annual workshop at the Goldcoast Ballroom.  It is 2 hours from 11 am to 1 pm and will cover all the secrets of the Samba which are usually reserved for private lessons.  RSVP early!  Call for more info!
